Since the launch of an electric vehicle model in Malaysia on July 20, Malaysia has successfully established a fast-charging supercharger station in Malaysia, located in Pavilion, Kuala Lumpur.
It is the first electric vehicle (EV) supercharging station located in Malaysia.
The government also established several more Tesla charging stations in major cities such as Klang Valley Kuala Lumpur KL, Dengkil, Petaling Jaya, Bukit Jalil, Perai in Penang, Negeri Sembilan, and Iskandar Puteri, Johor Malaysia.
The initiative was introduced under the Electric Vehicle Charging Corridor (EVCCTM) programmes.

The supercharger used by Tesla vehicle owners is paid for. It’s not free. Tesla owners can charge their vehicles up to 250 kWh.
The charge rate charged to Tesla owners is RM1.25 per kWh. By this means, a quick 24 kWh can cost the owner around RM30.
Not only that, car parking costs for charging purposes will be charged as much as RM4 for every minute of car parking after charging is completed.
